    I am looking for a prisioner of war camps run by the germans for allied soldiers. The camp I’m looking for was in North Africa,maybe near Hafala Pass? My dad was a prisioner of war there and recall him saying they were liberated by the allies one day. It was run by germans and also had italians there as well as guards.
    They had gone to get water at an oasis one day(or someplace) and were surprised by the germans.There was a fight and he got wounded.I don’t recall him saying how long he was there at the camp.
